System requirements - Dragon 13

These are the minimum requirements to use voice recognition. See also our Warranted Environment Specification (WES).

CPU	2.2 GHz Intel® dual core or equivalent AMD processor Please note: SSE2 instruction set required.
Processor cache	512 KB.
DVD-ROM drive	Required for installation.
Audio device	Nuance-approved microphone (included, except for upgrades). See Nuance Dragon accessories for more information.

Philips SpeechMike Device Control Software	If the Trust have opted to purchase or use existing Philips SpeechMikes as an alternative to the recommended voice recognition Headset, you should ensure that you do not install Philips SpeechMike Device Control Software. Magentus have identified that Cris Dragon voice recognition will not function as expected if Philips SpeechMike Device Control Software is installed. This is particularly in relation to the behaviour of the record button. You should not install any software supplied via media with the Philips SpeechMike. The device should only be installed using USB plug and play when in use with the Cris > Dragon integration. Alternatively, if you (or IT) have already installed the Philips SpeechMike Device Control Software, you should uninstall this completely, otherwise Magentus cannot guarantee the correct operation of the Philips SpeechMike when used in conjunction with the Cris > Dragon integration.

Philips SpeechMike

Device Control Software
